Different timescales, not different accuracy
A BaZi chart is fixed the moment you are born and never moves. What moves is the calendar running past it — the annual and ten-year pillars — which is why BaZi is good at seasons and bad at Tuesdays.
A tarot draw has no memory and no long view. It reflects the question in front of it. That makes it useless for “what am I like” and genuinely useful for “what is going on with this, right now”, which is the question people usually have when they reach for it.
Which to ask, by question
Ask BaZi: what kind of work suits me, why do I keep exhausting myself the same way, which years have been hard and why, what element or pace supports me.
Ask tarot: what am I not seeing about this situation, what is the shape of the thing I am avoiding, what would change if I moved now. Notice that all of these are about a specific situation and none are about your character.
What it means when they agree
Agreement between a fixed system and a drawn one is worth more than either alone, because they have no mechanism for agreeing by accident — one is arithmetic on your birth date, the other is a shuffle. When a card lands on the same theme your chart has been pointing at for a decade, that is the signal to take seriously.
Disagreement is also information, and usually the readable kind: your baseline says one thing, the present moment says another, which is a fair description of most periods where people feel stuck.
