In the sixty-pillar cycle each image is shared by exactly two pillars. 甲寅 shares Water of the Wide Stream with 乙卯, though the two differ in polarity, animal and hidden stems.

Jiǎ carries the image of a tall standing tree. That is this pillar's baseline; the branch it is paired with decides the rest.
