Xin Chou Day Pillar

A jewel still in its seam: more potential than present form. Early verdicts on this pillar are usually wrong.

In the sixty-pillar cycle each image is shared by exactly two pillars. 辛丑 shares Earth of the Wall with 庚子, though the two differ in polarity, animal and hidden stems.

Xīn carries the image of worked metal — jade, a finished jewel. That is this pillar's baseline; the branch it is paired with decides the rest.
